Jay and Danica

Jay Semko is bassist/vocalist with multiple JUNO Award nominees and Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame members The Northern Pikes and is an award winning music composer for numerous film and TV productions, including the syndicated series, "Due South". He is considered one of Canada’s premiere singer/songwriters, with 9 solo albums released, is a two-time Saskatchewan Country Music Awards winner (Roots Album of the Year 2012 "Force of Horses" & 2015 "Flora Vista") and his first book, “The Poetry & Lyrics of Jay Semko”, was published in 2021. “Time to Time”, the latest album from The Northern Pikes, was released in 2023. Danica Lorer has been struck by lightning, a moose, a rogue semi-tire, vehicles, and the odd strange idea. She is a storyteller, singer-songwriter, freelance writer, face and body painter, poet, and the host of Saskatoon's literary arts program 'Lit Happens'. She has had short stories and poems published in various literary magazines and anthologies. Danica’s original songs and stories have delighted audience members from 0-103 years of age in a wide range of venues across the nation.  Her storytelling, writing, and performance projects have been supported by SK Arts and the Canada Council for the Arts. https://saskatchewanstoryteller.ca/
